ENCAAS was established in June 2000 (formerly Aldoff Contracting)


our purpose

  • Provision of 24 hours/day, 7 days a week, therapeutic homes for children, youth and adults who are Children in Care of MCFD and/or Delegated Agencies or have a Service Agreement for Respite or adults who qualify for services through CLBC.

  • To provide individual care services to those who cannot remain in their own homes full time and cannot adjust to a family care home, but who still have the ability with supports, to function as members of the community.

  • To maintain a safe and structured environment that promotes growth for the individuals and their families. The home will be a safe, predictable and nurturing environment that facilitates transition into a healthy, productive lifestyle through caring and trust.

  • To initiate a care management team for individuals that will be comprised of a variety of appropriate community professionals as well as the individuals family, to decide upon the best plan of care with/for the individual. Service length will be decided by this team on an individual basis and will be determined by the persons’ age, maturity, care agreement and assistance required to integrate towards a new placement plan with family or independence.

  • To develop interactive relationships with individuals and their families and develop short and a long term life plans to be shared with appropriate care management partners.

  • To assist individuals in gaining life, job readiness, and academic skills and prepare persons served for various life planning paths with support services.

  • To provide crisis, stabilization, situation and lifestyle counseling and make appropriate referrals for long term counseling needs.

  • To provide cultural support services that promotes self-esteem, communication, life skills, and personal skills, including positive, healthy living, parenting and community interaction.
